Why did Floyd Mayweather retire?

Floyd said he retired because of his chidren and these years are critical for them but why do you think he retired? there could be many other reasons such as being scared to fight oscar de la hoya again because he almost won in their first match. I personally think that floyd retired because he made alot of money boxing and he doesnt feel the need or love for the sport any more. GIVE ME SOME OF YOUR OPINIONS. JDG
